DragonSkyn

Updated: Jun 22, 2018

Chris Crown, inventor of DragonSkyn, launched his product on Kickstarter on October 3!

As a recent Illinois Wesleyan Alum, Chris decided that having a flexible schedule, setting his own priorities, and creating innovative solutions were necessary parts of any job he would have. With a spirit of innovation, Chris most recently created DragonSkyn, a patent-pending product that turns reusable water bottles into portable muscle rollers.

As Mr. Crown focused on creating the product and ideas for how to market it, he turned to the Small Business Development Center of McLean County at Illinois Wesleyan University to learn more about incorporating his business, manufacturing, and patents. Mr. Crown shares that “it was nice to have some help from the SBDC’s personal meetings and information materials.”

Currently Mr. Crown is running a Kickstarter campaign to get the product to market and help “athletes, outdoor enthusiasts and travelers who get soreness from exercise, challenging hikes or long flights.” He also plans to continue to create quality, innovative solutions to solve everyday challenges.
